High Power SAW Filters

With more than 50 years of SAW expertise, Spectrum Control has broken new ground for SAW filters by adding high power (HP) input capabilities up to +35 dBm CW at +125C. Our SAW product offering covers the 20 MHz – 2.6 GHz spectrum in narrow, wide, and fractional bandwidths. These filters’ low insertion loss combined with the increased input power handling allows them to be deployed in all systems where the need for surviving a high-input power environment is crucial.

Aerospace, defense, and electronic warfare are some of the key high-power and high-reliability applications that deal with the increasing electromagnetic frequency noise. As the only US-based manufacturer of high power SAW filters, Spectrum Control uses an advanced manufacturing process that delivers higher power, tighter bandwidths, and expanded package options.

Spectrum Control can manufacture SAW products on a certified MIL-PRF-38534 Class H&K line with Class 10,000 clean rooms and the capability to certify, screen, and test to the most rigorous of industry standards. Also, Spectrum Control products are hermetically seam sealed to maintain environmental integrity to pass the rigors of MIL-STD-883 Method 1014 Method 1014 Conditions A & C for both gross and fine lead detection.
