About Spectrum Control SAW Filters

SAW Oscillators_sl

What is a SAW Oscillator? How are they used?

We make multiple types of SAW filters and filter topologies, including Lumped Element Filter, Cavity Filter, Ceramic Filter, Waveguide Filter, SAW Filter, and the Low Pass Filter. There are four general filter functions, which include Bandpass Filter, Highpass Filter, and the Bandreject Filter.

Overview

We offer a wide-range of high-quality standard and custom surface acoustic wave (SAW) product solutions, including filters, oscillators, and delay lines. Our engineers and technical experts are able design and manufacture high-performance SAW products that feature minimal group delay variation and low insertion loss.

Competitive Advantage

SAW_Filters

Spectrum Control can manufacture SAW products on a certified MIL-PRF-38534 Class H&K line with Class 10,000 clean rooms and the capability to certify, screen, and test to the most rigorous of industry standards. Also, our products are hermetically seam sealed to maintain environmental integrity to pass the rigors of MIL-STD-883 Method 1014 Method 1014 Conditions A & C for both gross and fine lead detection.

About Spectrum Control

Spectrum Control has over two decades of experience making SAW filters. We utilize a low jitter planar SAW which translates to extremely low phase noise performance and exceptionally low accumulated jitter. High performance is the cornerstone of our SAW Oscillator designs. Our SAW Oscillators undergo rigorous testing which include; constant acceleration, vibration testing, and stability bake. We use a low loss planar SAW device as the frequency controlling element. Adding multiple complimentary features including gold for low loss and kovar SAW packages results in a product with inherent high reliability to meet today’s demanding requirements.
